Each plug has been “vernalized” (overwintered) for the best harvest this summer. Unlike regular potatoes, which grow best when the soil is cool, sweet potatoes like it hot and will product 8-10 sweet potatoes per plug. Harvest when vines begin to yellow and before first frost.
